This is a well rounded, child friendly programme is especially designed for the younger child offering a suitable daily schedule to in cooperate all the learning areas for the younger child. The children in this class turn 3 before the end of March or turn 4 from July to December. They have two caregivers in this classroom who provide assistance to them during routine times.

With this in mind, a well balanced daily timetable is essential. Children thrive on routine. Their early morning routine is a big part of their day, to meet and greet fellow friends and some free play. They are given basic creative tasks that explore their senses, using various art materials such as paint, glue, paper, sponge, bubbles, paper, wool, etc. Learning through play is not just a statement for these young children. They learn trough their senses and tactile activities that enhance their creativity is a fun way to learn.

Care is given to ensure that all children are exposed to the learning programme at every level. We offer a varied daily routine each day, and the children are exposed to new and inventive mediums of creativity. Lots of anti waste materials are encourage to be used for art time. Play time is full of imagination and fantasy role play which extends their vocabulary and social skills, teaching them valuable skills like sharing and waiting a turn, etc. To be able to use the indoor and outdoor play areas many times in the morning, offers them an opportunity to develop their large muscle co ordination. They learn control over their basic movements during recess time outdoors. Social skills are an essential part of development at this age and these various play times offer them the opportunity to build a good vocabulary. The aim is to build their self esteem and allow them the opportunity to develop their personalities and become confident in their own ability.

Through snack time, they are encouraged to chat and socialize, enabling them to build relationships and hold a conversation. This time offers them an informal way of extending their vocabulary and learning good eating habits as well as following instructions and routines well.

This class has their own toilet and shower as well, keeping in mind that most of the children in this group have just been potty trained, allowing them easy and quick access to use the toilet. As Muslims, we are conscious of taharah at all times, so in case of accidents, we have a shower and a change of clothes ready for them. They are also assisted in the toilet by the caregiver, who is trained to perform istinja for them.

The grade OOO has the following lessons once a week: speech & drama lesson, computer lesson, Arabic lesson and a Wacko Ball lesson. Madressah is done daily by the form teacher. Monkeynastix is an optional extra mural that is offered once a week as well. This group has a form teacher and two caregivers. They come to school four times a week, from Tuesday through to Friday.

The times for arrival & dismissal for the grade OO are: Tuesday to Thursday: 7.45 a.m. to 12.00p.m & Friday : 7.45 a.m. – 11.00a.m.
